Why EVERY Business Should Use Retargeting

It’s one of the most overlooked opportunities of the last 5 years.

I say that if you start using it today, within a week you’ll beat every ad campaign you currently have.

That being said, retargeting can also be used in a sloppy way.

If we just hound people who visited our website, we’ll end up annoying them.

That’s why today we’re gonna cover how to use retargeting the right way.

Read on to see how to use your strongest marketing tool since… ever.

Hate Hard Closing? Retargeting Is For You!

Besides the increase in lead quantity, one of the best things about retargeting is what it does to their quality.

Imagine getting on the phone and the prospect is already sold.

You don’t need to push them.

Don’t need to feel awkward.

You’ll be amazed at how easy the sale goes.

The secret however is to be strategic.

Never do retargeting with videos that immediately try to sell.

It's not effective, it's annoying, and it drives prospects away.

Here’s much more profitable approach to take:

Using Retargeting To Trigger Goodwill

Let’s say we want to retarget a website visitor.

Here’s a two-step approach to do it in the most effective way:

  1. First we will show him three, four, five videos, aimed to help him as much as possible. Useful information from your field that will actually benefit him.

  1. Only after he’s done watching your useful content, that’s when you approach him with an ad.

Do this right and you won’t have to “hard close” anyone.

Because by the time they see your ad and book a call they already think highly of you! you were there to help them before asking for anything in return.

We’ll talk about this principle more in the future. For now, try and experiment with retargeting and see how it works out for you. Think about how you could implement this in your business.

P.S. Curious about how I’d handle the retargeting part of your advertising? Do this:

Get in touch with our agency today. If we’re a good fit I will personally take a look at your company and your marketing, come up with a strategy of what I’d do differently and discuss it with you in depth on a call.

No cost, no obligation.

If you want to work together I’ll tell you exactly how that works, if you don’t want to work together that’s fine too. No hard selling, no pressure, no annoying sales tactics.
