Is Your Business On The Verge Of Disaster?

Back in high school I used to work in Pizza Hut, where I learned one of the lessons that helped me the most as an entrepreneur.

Luckily this story is not about me, it’s about people who worked with me and fell victim to a certain mistake.

Also good thing that most of them were kids who still relied on their parents.

Because if this would’ve happened to an adult… Damn I’d feel bad for him.

The Pizza Hut Scandal

The story begins after I quit the job.

I was lucky enough to leave right before the franchise owner stopped paying salaries.

The guy had about 20 employees waiting to get money for hundreds of shifts.

Most of them started to threaten lawsuits, breaking the place, even exposing the secret pizza sauce.

So the owner decided to do the most irrational thing ever:

Instead of getting a loan and paying the salaries…

Or maybe asking the staff to wait until he has more money…

He ended up selling his branch and fleeing the country… Screwing up every single person that worked for him.

Now if you’re reading this and thinking:

“This can never happen me to because I don’t have an employer”

Just read on…

How You Can Fall To A Similar Situation

So right, you don't have a boss who can screw you over.

But you’re still exposed to a million and one other threats.

Imagine that tomorrow:

  • Big client decided to stop paying.

  • Key employee resigns.

  • Ad account that brings 90% of your leads gets blocked.

This is why you need to be super aware of the weak points in your business... and here is a simple test to identify them:

The Test Of ‘One’

The Pizza Hut scandal taught me never to trust the number 'one'.

Whether it’s one boss who is responsible for my income…

And later one source of leads.

One key employee.

One big customer.

 ‘Ones’ are vulnerabilities.

If for example your business relies solely on word of mouth marketing.

It's time to start looking for more ways to attract clients:

  • Facebook.

  • Instagram.

  • YouTube.

  • Google.
